Cruise the Northwest Territories

The Northwest Territories has a vast amount of water, and cruising those waters is a great way to get a feeling for the size and majesty of Canada's north. Take half day or evening harbour cruises from the larger communities. Our operators will spoil you with northern foods and plenty of northern stories. If you have more time, board a cruise ship for a week long river cruise on the Mackenzie River, one of the great river boat cruises in Canada. Or venture out on Great Bear or Great Slave Lake in a chartered cruise boat, to see the local sights. On our rivers, community-owned jet boats are the quickest mode of transportation.
